Joe was the Stagemanager of the Starclub in Hamburg. Some day in the 60ies the Bassplayer Chas Chandler, who performs with the Animals, introduced him a young Guitarist from New York - it was Jimi Hendrix - some Weeks later Jimi started his career in the Apollo-Theater in London. Now Joe is a co-founder of the Beatlemania Museum in Hamburg. We met him in the Kamm In where he told us this little true story about the purple haze on the face of Jimi Hendrix.
